Keratin is the protein contained in hair and nails. Amazon Shine replaces the keratin contained in the cuticle and plumps it up which improves its appearance and makes hair easier to manage.
The method of temporarily smoothing (and in some cases making it appear straighter) hair by sealing liquid keratin and a preservative solution into the hair with hot irons.
