After the hard work…

Here at 77 The Hill, as you have probably gathered, we take work very seriously!

As you also know, December is the busiest time for our industry, and this December was our busiest yet…

So after all the hard work comes our annual after-Christmas do!

Traditionally, most workplaces have their parties in December; however, for hair stylists, we prefer to be tucked up in bed with our cocoa nice and early to prepare for a full-on day of clients with the possibility of squeezing more in!

So, for many years now we have celebrated our hard work in January when we have recuperated enough to stay out a bit later and generally let our hair down – excuse the pun…

Venue of choice

Our chosen venue this year was The Ned in London.

We went along en masse to their Sunday feast, and wow! What a feast it was.

There was lobster, oysters, prawns and salads to start, followed by three choices of roast dinner with all the trimmings.

Desserts were plentiful, and you could eat as much as you liked of everything.

All washed down with some fizz, a good time was had by all.

We love celebrating as a team, and it’s important to enjoy and indulge in any success.

In this particular climate, where nothing is certain, and the hairdressing industry is in crisis, we have earned a pat on the back, but with a huge caveat. We must not assume it will always be this way, and we must never become complacent.

We have planned some exciting things for 2026, with training playing an important part.

As always, our team is ready for any challenges that may arise. We look forward to working with our regular customers and to welcoming new.
