Beautiful hair doesn’t happen by accident…

Just lately, we are super proud of ourselves!

We always try to carry out the best work, with cuts and colours, styling and hair up, however, the work that’s come out of the salon in the last few weeks has been outstanding and we are proud to show it off.

Balayage continues to dominate, with blonde and tone a close second. Hair colour cannot ever be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors. Sometimes, people can be disappointed that we have to either say, no, or we have to tell them that it could take a while to achieve what they want.

This is particularly true of blonde and lightening.

As most people will be aware, it can be incredibly hard to get rid of copper or yellow tones when lightening hair. Where would we be without toners?

Ash toners are the most requested, as they will soon get rid of those unwanted yellow tones. However, getting the hair to the correct shade first can be the problem. Lighteners are much kinder to the scalp these days, especially our brand of Blondme, which has bond connectors infused into the powder. This builds the bonds back up that are damaged by lightening.

With this comes the advantage of using a much lower volume peroxide – much gentler on the scalp, which allows 2 applications in the same day, allowing your scalp to remain undamaged and pain free. In the past, this was nearly impossible, unless your scalp was made of steel! The powder and peroxide together, used to make it painful after one application – let alone 2! Thank goodness, things have moved on and advances in the hairdressing industry, have allowed us to achieve good colours, without the pain.

We have a great range of toners too – not all of them are ash in tone either!

We have some lovely soft pastels, or a combination of ash and pastel, or pastel and sand tones.
