Colour work has been at the forefront of our work as around 70% of clients request colour in their hair. Hair extensions and Brazilian blow dry’s very popular too.

Balayage continues to dominate in popularity as do the greys and tones for blondes. We have had training for a new colour range for blondes and have new courses booked throughout the year.

It’s important to keep up with trends and set new goals to remain competitive and cutting edge in the ever changing and moving environment of hairdressing.

Cutting hair is, of course, important and the single thing that clients want most. Over time, cutting has evolved and so has the way hairdressing is delivered.

There are many Hairdressing chains which dominate the High Street, where stylists are all trained a certain way – which is then applied to all the salons in the chain. However a one-off salon like 77 The Hill, we believe, offers something a little different, where long-term relationships can be formed with our clients and our stylists can be free and creative without restriction.

Every one of our stylists bring something different to the table and we believe it’s very important to bring out the very best in our staff. This makes them confident and happy – therefore much more likely to stay with us longer and help build and maintain good relationships with their clients.

The girls like to show their work, particularly when they have done something different, or when they are particularly pleased with a style.

So…. as with a lot of businesses, we document our work by taking photos and videos for Instagram Facebook and our website. We have chosen a varied selection of cuts, colour work and styling to showcase – a snapshot of time in the salon.
