Learning is good for the brain and keeps the mind active. We have a strong and full training programme and we are always looking at new things and different ways of doing things.
Hairdressing is such a fast moving environment, we have to keep up to stay competitive. This week we had training with the wonderful Jamie Farrar from Schwarzkopf.
Jamie brought along some delicious new colours and products and we all had fun experimenting with some of the new colours on each other.
Curls are big this year and set to be big and bouncy. There are some great new products just for this new trend. Forget flat and straight – think the curlier the better!
There are some lovely new colours available too, from the “dusted rouge” range. Ranging in intensity from barely there to full on rouge.
Also eight new nude shades. All inter-mixable and with a pasteliser that can also be mixed with any Igora Royal shade, we can achieve many more colours.
Lovely looks and salon news!
We have been very busy in the salon, with some gorgeous colouring and cutting going on every day. Please take the time to look at some of our photos, to see what’s been happening in the salon.
Perhaps you are looking for a change ready for spring – or maybe you just want to get some ideas.
Our lovely stylist Emma – recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl – has decided to extend her maternity leave for a bit longer. We look forward to her return to work and we will, of course, keep you posted about it.
Another of our talented stylists – Fil, has recently been promoted to senior stylist and we extend our warm congratulations to her.
As some of you may remember recently, Hannah won a place in the Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team and her training starts next week. We are so proud of her and excited to share her progress with you all. Good luck Hannah!
Watch this space…..
Easter is fast approaching and if last year is anything to go by, we will be very busy. Traditionally the second busiest trading period after Christmas.
Make sure you don’t miss out on an appointment – we look forward to welcoming you.
