Time goes so fast…

We are not only busy and coping, our team is doing some beautiful hairdressing!

No one knew what could lie ahead when the first few cases arrived on our shores. We certainly didn’t dream we would not be able to work and do what we love doing for so long – but we are back with a vengeance!

We weren’t sure what we could do in the shorter time frames that were suggested. As well as keep everyone as safe as possible, keep the salon clean, wear all the PPE and still produce some great looks, we could be forgiven for being a little concerned.

There have been some good repair jobs from box dye disasters, some interesting colour combinations and a few longer hairstyles.

Having a prolonged period of time of growing our hair because we simply didn’t have any other choice, has been good for some of us and we have had more than a few clients wishing to keep their hair longer.

Time…

For most of us, the enforced lockdown has given us time – something that we never usually have enough of. Time to think, time to change, time to take stock. Our hair is terribly important to us and we always want it to look good, however, we had nowhere to go, no one to see and no one to please except ourselves!

Our hair became unimportant in the grand scheme of things. People were getting sick and sadly many people died, it seemed inappropriate to worry about our appearance.

Once we were able to able to open up again, people became interested in making themselves look the best they could and a visit to the hairdressers has once again become a necessity!

The future looks good, with many new products to share with you soon and some great new temporary colours.

Who knows what may happen in the future? For now, we want to work, work work!
