We have all been very busy at 77 The Hill and so it continues.
We are still working hard to minimise risk, continually clean and review PPE and anything else we can think of to keep us as safe as possible. We are using the ozone system, which is known to kill 99.9% of germs, bacteria and viruses. The great thing about this system is it is kind to the environment, using pure oxygen and water – no harsh chemicals.
Our shift system has worked really well, offering clients early and late appointments, 7 days a week. This system will change in mid- September and we will go back to our normal start time, however, we are very pleased to announce that Natalina and Angela will be offering two late evenings, every other week until 9.00 pm on Thursday and Friday.
This will help with clients who prefer not to sit in the salon on a Saturday and people that may work shifts, or work late. It also helps with congestion in the salon, minimising risks.
Other news
In line with government guidelines, we are happy to bring back some services that we have been unable to do up until now.
This will include, blow-drying, balayage and Brazilian keratin treatments. As from August 15th, we will have to wear masks as well as visors, allowing us to work at a one meter distance. Plus we have invested in some screens to make sure we are complying with the rules. The government announced that beauty salons would be able to work on facial treatments as long as face coverings are worn by clients and staff alike. We feel confident that we can manage risks and follow all the safety advice that is offered to our industry.
Unfortunately, we are still unable to carry out child trims at the moment. Anyone under the age of 14, must be accompanied by an adult, therefore this will add extra traffic to the salon and we still have to keep the number of people to a minimum.

We have some really exciting new products to use and some to retail.
We have a brand new semi-permanent colour system with hundreds of colour ways. Ask about Chroma ID when booking your appointment. It is 100% semi-permanent and you will not need a skin test beforehand.
