When Eleni started work on Saturdays at 77 The Hill, it was just to earn a little money.

She had her career path worked out until she started to realise that she was interested in hairdressing!

She soon began to love the environment and buzz of the salon and quickly became a valued member of the team.

Once Eleni was ready, she enrolled at college and set about her apprenticeship, taking to hairdressing like a duck to water.

We loved her keen attitude to learn – in fact she was so keen, it was pure joy to observe her taking everything in and wanting more!

Now qualified, with distinction, Eleni is gradually building her clientele with some very special offers.

In her own words, she describes her path to success!

Hi, I’m Eleni Kaponi.

I qualified as a stylist in March this year. I am very happy to be on the salon floor, building my clientele! I am offering a 50% discount for most services.

Weirdly enough, I hadn’t always wanted to be a hairdresser at all! I just fell in love with it gradually, whilst working in the salon. I loved watching the skills that the team at work have, taking in their art and meeting and getting to know the customers.

I love expressing my creativity through hairdressing. I love creating different shapes using my cutting skills and love doing funky colour work to enhance my hair cut.

The best part is seeing how happy a client can be after I have given them a wonderful new look.

I have big dreams and love seeing clients come back to me – I know I made the right choice being a hairdresser. ☺️
