Goodbye 2022!
How has your year been?
We were more than happy to take the last of the covid restrictions away in July but only when we knew it was safe to do so.
We have been able to unleash our creativity in such a way that covid restrictions wouldn’t allow.
Hairdressing is a personal service and anything that comes between the stylist and the client can act as a barrier to good communication and understanding.
The wearing of masks and visors, although absolutely essential at the time – felt restrictive.
Although things are tough with the cost of living and price increases across the board, our clients still want to look their best and above all, feel good!
So they may visit the salon less often, or restrict costs in other ways. But we are still able to offer good value and impeccable service to customers, old and new.
Apart from covid, there have been other changes in the salon too.
We have completely changed our retail products and colours.
Forming a new partnership with Milkshake, which we have previously written about in a news blog earlier this year.
We are delighted we made the move. After a few teething problems – to be expected – the feedback has been amazing.
Some great news!
Michaela, our brilliant apprentice, passed her end point assessment with flying colours!
She absolutely smashed it, gaining not just a pass but a distinction!
We are really proud of her and equally, she cannot wait to get started on her existing clients and building a new clientele.
As a graduate stylist, Michaela’s services will be available at 50% discount for the foreseeable future. *T’s & C’s apply*

Saying farewell to Mel and Leanne, it only leaves one more thing and that is to wish everybody a very happy Christmas and New Year and thank you for your continued support.
We’ll be back to work on Wednesday 28th December and look forward to seeing you all soon.
