Hello and a very big warm welcome back to the salon!
We are so very happy to be back and judging by our appointment diary, you are very happy to see us!
The last few months have been tough for everyone. From the moment we were told abruptly on Saturday 19th December that we were going into tier 4 with immediate effect, then 3 days later – a full lockdown! At the time, we only had 4 working days left until Christmas and we would have loved to have fulfilled all our appointments but alas it wasn’t to be.
It wasn’t long before we realised that we wouldn’t be coming back any time soon but no one could foresee just how long it would actually take.
Sadly, we lost a beloved colleague due to covid – Jamie Farrar, our training partner at Schwarzkopf Henkel UK lost his fight back in January. Jamie was a fountain of knowledge and extremely helpful to us over many years. He was a lovely, kind, funny and bright person and totally irreplaceable. We will miss him greatly.
We are extremely grateful that our loyal customers have been counting down the days to get their hair sorted out and we are happy to be making people feel better. It’s another small step towards some kind of normality.
We still have a long way to go of course but we are doing everything we can to be covid safe and doing our bit to avoid another wave of infection.
We still have a strict cleaning programme and offer PPE to our customers along with screens between our workstations and disposable gowns and towels.
We will still be carrying out temperature checks and asking everyone to use hand sanitiser. We will also kindly ask you to wear a mask throughout your entire visit.
We have contacted clients that had appointments booked during lockdown and most others now too. We apologize if one or two people have slipped through the net. We are open now to take appointments over the phone and our online booking system is running too.
We are fully booked for the foreseeable future however, we do get cancellations and it is always worth trying to get booked in!
Lastly, we want to say a huge thank you to our customers for your patience and great response since we’ve been back. It is very humbling and we will do everything we can to keep up our high standards and make everyone’s hair look amazing!
