How it started…
To say the last 14 months have been testing is an understatement!
There we all were, happily working, creating beautiful hair colours and styles and then someone turned the lights out and we all went home – for three and a half months.
We excitedly but tentatively came back last summer, following all the rules, keeping staff and clients safe and ready to make up for lost time.
This worked for a few months until the numbers started building up again and we could fight it no more! Another month in lockdown, which to us, didn’t seem too bad compared to nearly four months last time!
Raring to go again in December, we were extremely busy and very happy to satisfy the enormous appetite for a good time and to have lovely hair– despite the news about covid.
With only three days to go and a full diary of appointments – would we or won’t we, be allowed to celebrate Christmas? The answer turned out to be no! We went straight into a tier four lockdown. Only this time, it felt different. It felt like we weren’t going to return to work, any time soon.
Sure enough, a few days later a full lockdown happened and once again, our creative juices were temporarily turned off.
Of course, nothing lasts forever and after a very long almost four months, we have returned to work.
How it’s going now…
Since returning to the salon, we have been so busy and we are truly grateful that our loyal clients have come back to us. We are keeping everything crossed that we don’t have another lockdown and simply getting on with our jobs whilst still following the rules.
Not only that but we have been doing some great hairdressing! Keeping up our high standards by creating styles using new colours and cuts – all whilst still giving great customer care.
We will soon be able to offer tea and coffee again and have magazines on hand for our customers to read. All the little things that we have missed so much and we know you have too.
We feel proud of how far we have come, despite all of the setbacks and I speak for everyone when I say that we are all grateful to be able to carry on and we owe it all to you!
Finally…
Due to a large hike in costs recently, there will be a small price on some but not all of our services, from July 1st.
All our prices can be found on our website and will be adjusted accordingly from July 2021
