First things first,
Everybody at 77 The Hill would like to wish all our clients, a very happy new year and we thank everyone for their custom throughout the year.
We are soon going to be celebrating 30 years of fabulous hairdressing!
In June, 1990, we opened our doors to customers during a recession. We became busy immediately, in spite of the recession, quickly realising we had something very special at 77 The Hill.
As we reflect on the last decade of hairdressing and our success, our philosophy hasn’t changed in all those years.
We have always tried to not become complacent – hairdressing is a tough arena to work in, with so much competition from other salons and more recently, social media. It can be hard to keep going sometimes, however, we think our results speak for themselves, thirty years trading is a long time. We offer fantastic colouring methods, beautiful haircuts and different styling methods to make our clients feel and look great.
This year we hope to welcome our regular and new clients at 77 The Hill. There’s never been a better time to book an appointment
Hairdressing for the 20’s
To keep ahead of the completion, we need to be on top of trends and what we think might be fashionable for the time period we are in.
Bob haircuts are still hugely popular and bang on trend, however, the lines although the lines will still be chunky and fairly sharp, they will also be more jagged. Fringes will be carefully cut to give the impression of a grown out fringe. This will also have a jagged line and made to look like it hasn’t been cut in a while!
Balayage will still be huge as a colour method but with an added twist! Colour placement will be more random to make the hair look sun kissed or weathered. This colour method can be used to highlight facial contours too. Interested?
The pixie hair cut is making a comeback this year too. If you’re looking for a complete transformation, this could be the new style for you!
Blonde and tone will of course be big this year. Silver tones are dominant but we will also see lilac in various shades used as a toner.
