Learning is key to remaining competitive and to prevent complacency. Everyone benefits from education and no matter how experienced you are in your job – you can still learn something new.
This time, it was the turn of Angela and Michaela, who attended a colour correction course with Milkshake Education.
They both learned more about the colour wheel used to determine which colour neutralises orange tones and which colours counteract unwanted undertones.
Angela and Michaela both really enjoyed this course and have enjoyed sharing what they’ve learnt with the rest of the team.
This is wholly important as it helps to cement new found knowledge.
Learning a skill or finding out something new that can help someone to be better at their job or unlock the answer to a persistent problem, is proof that progress is determined by knowledge and perseverance.
Hairdressing is a competitive industry and every salon worth their salt, will need to be one step ahead of the competition.
There are many thousands of courses and education sessions that we could benefit from but the best ones for us, push our boundaries and take us way out of our comfort zone. We can never improve if we stay where we’re comfortable.
Making mistakes will ultimately help us to improve and grow.

Like every business currently, our costs remain high and we have to pass on a small proportion to customers.
We will be announcing a slight price increase, taking place from Nov 1st.
This will only affect cuts and blow dry’s and will be effective across all levels of ability within the team.
There’s still time to receive a 20% discount with Michaela for all colour services and 50% reduction in cut and styling services.
We can also offer Brazilian blow dry’s at a huge reduction until the end of October.
